Domnick microBAN Adopts INCOTERMS® 2010

January 20, 2011 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: – Domnick microBAN, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, and a supplier of innovative and high quality MICROBAN® air sterilization filter cartridges and filter housings has adopted INCOTERMS ® 2010 Rules effective January 1, 2011.

The Incoterms® rules are an internationally recognized standard and are used worldwide in international and domestic contracts for the sale of goods. First published in 1936, Incoterms® rules provide internationally accepted definitions and rules of interpretation for most common commercial terms.

With the 2010 updates, the number of 13 Incoterms® has been reduced to 11 with two new Incoterms® being introduced, DAT and DAP. There have been four Incoterms® dropped, which are DEQ, DES, DAF, and DDU. Therefore, Domnick microBAN customers will notice a change in documentation including invoices, sales order acknowledgements, and terms and conditions.
